Women’s Health Victoria (WHV) is a statewide women’s health promotion, advocacy and support service with a proud history of over 25 years. We are an independent, feminist, not-for-profit organisation. We advocate and build system capacity for a gendered approach to health that reduces inequalities and improves health outcomes for women.

Counterpart is a statewide gynaecological and breast cancer support and information service. As part of Women’s Health Victoria, the service aims to empower women to make informed choices about their care and treatment, to support them to live well.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced project coordinator to join our team for 12 months in an exciting new outreach role.

This new part time position will develop, implement and support the expansion of Counterpart services in the Eastern and Southern metropolitan areas of Melbourne.

You will be

  • experienced in project management including developing and implementing programs in health or community settings
  • an excellent relationship builder with experience working with a range of health professionals and organisations
  • familiar with working in the not for profit sector with consumers
  • committed to enhancing service delivery and access to information and support for women with a gynaecological or breast cancer, across metropolitan Melbourne.

Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in Health/Social Science/Community Development/Health Promotion or related field.

This role is seven days per fortnight (0.7 FTE) for a period of 12 months.
