Women’s Health Victoria (WHV) is committed to complying with Australian Commonwealth legislation governing privacy of personal information by businesses. WHV is committed to the security of all information associated with our customers. WHV have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control.
Any personal information you provide will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not be added to any third party mailing lists. Security
Credit card payments are secured using industry-standard encryption. This ensures all credit card details you send to us via the internet will be encrypted. If any other user intercepts the communication, they will only be able to view the encrypted form. This makes it impossible to be intercepted by an unauthorised party as long as your browser supports the use of encrypted data transmissions.
Fraud Prevention
In order to protect you and WHV from fraudulent transactions, WHV may provide your transaction-related information to an industry accredited third party organization to perform address verification. This address verification is intended to ensure that the "bill to" address that you provide matches your credit card address. WHV also reserves the right, at its discretion, not to confirm purchases on this website to certain individuals or organisations.
Refunds, Credits & Attendee Changes
All Refund requests can be made in writing to whv@whv.org.au up to 7 days prior to the event. Cancelations made less than 7 days, may incur a fee of 30%. All credit card payments include a non-refundable handling fee.
WHV reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event. The participant will be offered an alternative date, a credit note or a full refund. If WHV choses to revoke an attendee or an organisation’s event or training purchase, you will be notified by email and any amount charged to your credit card will be refunded.
A substitute attendee (name change) can be nominated up to 48 hours before a scheduled event or training session. Thereafter the attendee forfeits their registration and no refund or credit will apply.
