Join a panel of leading experts and women with lived experience of early menopause with an opportunity to ask your questions.

Early menopause can occur either spontaneously (often without a known cause) or as a result of medical treatment, particularly for cancers.

This webinar will provide you the opportunity to hear from clinicians with expertise in early menopause  to talk about the social impact and also hear first-hand from a woman about the lived experience aspects of early menopause. Presenters include:

  • Associate Professor Amanda Vincent, Endocrinologist, Monash Health Menopause clinic. Head, Early Menopause research, Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University
  • Associate Professor Jacqueline Boyle, Obstetrician/Gynaecologist, Monash Health Deputy Director and Lead Women's Public Health and Health Equity Stream, Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University
  • Dr. Kate Johnston-Ataata  Research Fellow (Health Sociology), Social & Global Studies Centre, RMIT University
  • Kirstydiagnosed with spontaneous premature menopause at age 31
