We talk to people about contraception, pregnancy options (including abortion) and sexual health, connecting people with the services they need. We are a free, pro-choice, confidential phone and website service.

About the role

We are seeking two people to share this role. One position is for three shifts per week (16.5 hours total). The other position is for 2 shifts per week (11 hours total).  It is a fixed term contract (March 2020 to June 30, 2021). The Senior Information and Resources Information Officer responds to incoming calls and online enquiries to the 1800 My Options service and provides in-shift support and supervision to the service’s phoneline team.

About you

We are seeking a pro-choice, highly skilled person who can provide a sensitive health information service. Relevant qualifications and experience in direct service delivery and supervising small teams in a health or community setting is essential.

Salary

The position is classified as a Level 3 and attracts a salary of $82,478 per annum pro rata.

WHV Enterprise Agreement 2018 conditions and salary apply.  In addition, employer superannuation guarantee and access to salary packaging applies.
