Women’s Health Victoria is seeking a highly motivated, skilled and dynamic woman to develop and implement digital strategies and create engaging, shareable content for our Gender Equality in Advertising Project. This exciting and ambitious project aims to transform ad industry culture, empower the community and strengthen regulation to promote gender equality and prevent violence against women in and through advertising.
The project is at an important juncture as we prepare for the launch of our project website, strategic framework for gender equality in advertising, and digital engagement strategy. The Digital Engagement Officer will play a vital role in building industry and community understanding of sexism in advertising and how to address it, and increasing the impact of our project.
The successful candidate will have experience developing and delivering effective digital engagement strategies and/or campaigns, excellent writing skills and ability to create compelling content for digital platforms, as well as sharing our commitment to gender equity and the prevention of violence against women.
This role is a part-time position (0.6 EFT) until mid-February 2021. Subject to confirmation of funding, the position may be extended.
