Women’s Health Victoria (WHV) is a state-wide women’s health promotion, advocacy and support service. We are an independent, feminist, not-for-profit organisation. WHV delivers 1800 My Options - Victoria’s sexual and reproductive health information service.
About 1800 My Options
We talk to people about contraception, pregnancy options (including abortion) and sexual health, connecting people with the services they need. We are a free, pro-choice, confidential phone and website service.
About the role
We are seeking two people to join our team. Senior Information and Resource Officers respond to incoming calls and online enquiries to the 1800 My Options service, to meet the SRH needs of Victorians and other callers such as health professionals, carers or support services. They provide mutual debriefing on shift, and undertake project work including health promotion to support the service to meet its objectives.
About you
We are seeking two pro-choice, highly skilled people who can provide a sensitive health information service. Relevant qualifications and experience in direct service delivery in a health or community setting is essential.
Salary
The position is classified as a Level 3 and attracts a salary of $86,529 pro rata. WHV Enterprise Agreement 2018 conditions and salary apply. In addition, employer superannuation guarantee and access to salary packaging applies.
